Why This Site?
Nobody likes to waste time. Not you. Not me. Not anyone. Unless, of course you just need that “veg” time after a long day.
But most of us face time crunches regularly. You go to work, come home, eat supper, enjoy your family, and go to bed. Who has time to read everything on the internet?
Since I read most of the great political, economic, and religious commentary available anyhow, I decided i would make it easy for others to read only the best.
I scour the internet looking for great conservative thinkers and send out links to those articles twice a week. I’ll send five or six article links that you really need to read all the way through. In that way, you’re recapturing precious hours of your time.
Here are some of the authors and sites I review:
Victor Davis Hanson
Public Intelligence Blog
Robert David Steele
The Freedom Articles
And other blogs and news sites that subscribers bring to my attention.
I only curate the best of the best. We might even throw in a video to watch as a bonus. You really do stand to save six or seven hours each week.
I only choose articles and opinions that have mass appeal. I’ve eliminated the blogs that have an excessive number of ads, pop-ups, and click-bait headlines inside the articles. Those are annoying and just not fair to those of you who really want to save time. I’ll make the assumption that you have some sort of ad-blocker installed on your device, so if ads are still annoying me, think of how much they’ll be annoying those without the devices. Unfortunately, some articles are neglected because their editor and webmasters just do not know when to say, “Enough!” with the advertising. Pity.
I’ve also tried to pare down the blogs and news sites that I deem “whack job” or “nut job.” Sometimes a kook is just a kook. Sure, we conservatives have been called these names in the past, but sometimes you just need to draw the line somewhere.
To date no webmaster has asked us NOT to publish a link to their articles. Since we do not email anything but the title and a brief (30 word) description, blog owners would be foolish to not allow us to send out those links. If you think about it, it’s a huge compliment to their writing and crafting ability. And yet, before it’s all said and done, we will be getting those requests. We’ll decide at that time what we should do with the site and link. My first inclination is to just be done with it altogether, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.
